The idea of exhibition

I wanted to set up an exhibition for my photographs, which would be a great way to present my work. I believe it would deliver better to the target audience and I also thought of bringing it together with an even for Big C. That way it would be double beneficial - getting the target audience to see it and know about it, and raising money for the charity.

My client liked the idea of exhibition and collaboration with Big C's campaign.  She came up with her ideas as well and I suggested a meeting where we could discuss our ideas and make some plans towards the exhibition.

The meeting went very well. I have shown my ideas to Danielle who was happy with them. We decided on Forum as our plan A, Open plan B and City College as plan C.

Forum was my first idea. I knew that they do exhibit lots of work and they have lots of people coming in and selling their products. I looked at their website and sadly I would have to pay a lot for a room there.

Therefore I was unable to have my exhibition there. I have no budget, especially that high budget.

The Open

Open was my next option. It offers 10 easels  for free up to 14 days. My client contacted her friend who works at open and they offered us exhibition in April. 

The College

The college was my last chance if anything else would not work. I did ask the college about a space for me to exhibit the photographs, however they said that there is no room and therefore it could not work.
