Independent Client

On Friday the 26th of January 2018 I went to visit one of the Big C's charity Shop to give the schedule, mood-board and proposal to Danielle Day's colleague. I visited the place with two of my friends Yasmin Shoukry and Jay Clayton, who are my models for the project. I decided to take them with me, to have second opinion on the clothing which ended up being very helpful. The lady I was talking with, Cora, was the manager of the store, that has been previously informed about my visit. I introduced her to the whole project and handed all of the paperwork. She was very nice and suggested me another places I could visit and collect clothes from, however Danielle Day said before that she is going to bring clothes into one location for me, so I am not sure about what Cora told me. I am going to email Danielle about the progress and ask some more questions. We were allowed to look around the store and pick some clothes. I wanted to set up an exhibition for my photographs, which would be a great way to present my work. I believe it would deliver better to the target audience and I also thought of bringing it together with an even for Big C. That way it would be double beneficial - getting the target audience to see it and know about it, and raising money for the charity. My client liked the idea of exhibition and collaboration with Big C's campaign.  She came up with her ideas as well and I suggested a meeting where we could discuss our ideas and make some plans towards the exhibition. The meeting went very well. I have shown my ideas to Danielle who was happy with them. We decided on Forum as our plan A, Open plan B and City College as plan C. I composed a document that states that I took some of the clothes from the store. I will list them down, when I visit the store and I will have two copies of those to be signed by the manager to have a proof that I have not stolen anything from the store.

We were introduced to the Harvard Referencing system due to the requirement to provide a full bibliography in my portfolio. We were introduced to the correct and incorrect Harvard Referencing. I want my project to look as professional as it is possible. I also want it to remain as close to the real fashion photo-shoot that are done for large brands such as H&M, as it is possible. Therefore I have contacted a makeup artist who could possibly do the makeup and hair for my models. I emailed her, explaining the idea behind the project and all the possible styles I want to go for. I am planning to go on a recce around the city center in Norwich to find interesting locations that I can use for my photo shoot.
